ALIA provides the ALIAlert Fraud Alert service to all Alberta lawyers participating in the indemnity program.
Subscribers can support the alert service by reporting any suspected fraudulent activity that is targeting their practice or client.
Prevent Fraud
The best way to avoid being victimized by fraud is prevention. Learn how to recognize, avoid and protect yourself against fraud.
Other provincial law societies and supporting organizations offer their own fraud alert advisories and information on current frauds, which can act as supplemental resources in protecting you, your clients and your firm.
